The discipline of Civil and Structural Engineering deals with designing, construction and maintenance of infrastructure such as roads, buildings, bridges, water and wastewater systems etc. Faculty of integrated technologies (FIT), a university Brunei Darussalam has a competent and well-designed civil & structural engineering programme. It provides students with all the necessary knowledge and state of the art technical skills and expertise in order to prepare them as well qualified civil engineers to serve Brunei Darussalam.

In this regard the faculty of integrated technologies has acquired the expertise of renowned academics and scientists who have been actively working in the field of civil & structural engineering and have made great achievements. Some of the key areas of achievements include failure analysis, stress analysis, design and fabrication, building thermal characteristics, and performance evaluation of structures etc.
